Course & Eligibility

What's included in the $769 course?
The full course is $769 plus HST and covers your BDE certification (MTO-approved theory), 10 hours of in-car instruction with a certified instructor, one city (G2) road test using our car, and an insurance discount certificate on completion. The Ministry processing fee is separate.
Can I start before I get my G1?
You need a valid G1 before any in-car training begins. Many students start the theory portion while they're working toward the G1, then move into driving lessons once they hold the licence. Call us and we'll sequence it around your G1 date.
Do I have to finish theory before in-car training?
Yes. The MTO requires the theory portion to be completed before in-car training begins. Ontario's BDE is 40 hours total — 20 in-class or online theory, 10 homelink, and 10 in-car — and the in-car hours come after the classroom work is done.
What's the difference between in-class and online e-learning?
Both cover the same MTO-approved 20 hours of theory and lead to the same certification. In-class is instructor-led on a set schedule; the online e-learning option lets you work through the same material at your own pace. The 10 hours of in-car training are the same either way.
Can I switch between in-class and online?
In most cases, yes — just let us know your preference early so we can set up the right format. Tell us when you book or call us mid-course and we'll help you make the switch where it's possible.

Schedule & Completion

How fast can I finish the in-class theory?
The in-class theory is 20 hours, and our schedule offers options to complete it over a few intensive days or spread across evenings and weekends. Call us for the next available start dates and the pace that suits you.
How long do I have to complete everything?
Most students finish well within a few months, but there's flexibility to fit lessons around school, work, or family. We'll map a realistic timeline with you at booking so the whole course lands comfortably before your road test.
Can I start the online course any time?
Yes. The online e-learning theory is self-paced, so you can begin as soon as you're registered and work through it on your own schedule. Once the theory is complete, we'll book your in-car lessons.

Road Test & Licensing

Do you cover the highway G test?
The road test included in the full course is the city (G2) test only — it does not cover the highway G test. We do offer G prep on request, so call us if you'd like to add highway lessons before your full G road test.
How soon can I take my road test after BDE?
With BDE completion, you're eligible to take the road test 8 months after your G1 date, instead of the standard 12. The actual test date depends on DriveTest availability, so we recommend booking ahead.
Can I use your car for the road test?
Yes — one city (G2) road test in our instructor car is included in the full course. You take the test in the same car you trained in, which is one less thing to worry about on test day.
How do I book the road test?
You book the G2 test through DriveTest.ca or by calling 1-888-570-6110. If you'd rather not handle it alone, we can help you choose a date and centre that fits your training schedule — just ask.

Payments & Policies

Do you offer a payment plan?
We try to keep payment flexible where we can. The simplest way to sort out options is to call us — we'll go over what works for your situation and confirm the details at booking.
When is the balance due?
The remaining balance is due before your in-car training begins. We'll confirm the exact amount and timing with you when you register.
What's your refund and cancellation policy?
Refunds and cancellations are handled case by case, and an admin or registration fee may apply. The exact terms are confirmed in writing at booking, so you'll know precisely where you stand before you pay.
How much are the smaller packages?
We offer smaller 5-, 3-, and 2-lesson packages for drivers who just need polish before the test. Pricing varies by what you need, so please ask for pricing and we'll quote you the right option.

Languages & Service Area

Which languages can my instructor teach in?
We teach in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. Tell us your preference when you book and we'll match you with an instructor who teaches in the language you think in.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the GTA and the Niagara region. Call us with your address and we'll confirm coverage and let you know what's available in your area.
Do you offer pickup and drop-off?
Pickup and drop-off are available, but they depend on your location within our service area. Give us your address when you book and we'll confirm whether pickup is included for you.

Insurance & Certificate

Will the BDE certificate lower my insurance?
Most insurance providers offer a discount for new drivers who've completed an MTO-approved BDE course. We give you an insurance discount certificate on completion — show it to your insurer to claim the savings. Discount amounts vary by provider.
When do I get my certificate?
Your insurance discount certificate is issued once you've completed the full course — all 40 hours, including theory and your 10 in-car hours. We'll hand it to you as soon as your completion is recorded.
What if I lose my certificate?
Don't worry — your BDE completion is recorded with the Ministry, so it isn't lost even if the paper copy is. Call us and we'll help you sort out a replacement; a small admin fee may apply, confirmed when you reach out.
